Bio:
Aluminia was founded in Copenhagen in 1863 and developed into one of Denmark’s significant manufacturers of faience. The factory was taken over by Philip Schou in 1882, the same year he also acquired the Royal Copenhagen porcelain factory. Aluminia is particularly known for its decorative and functional faience production from the first half and middle of the 20th century.
