Bio:
Mari Simmulson (1911-2000) was one of Upsala Ekeby’s leading designers. Working for the company from 1949 to 1972, she created a wide range of ceramic series and unique pieces distinguished by strong colours, decorative figures, and a clearly artistic expression. Her works are today highly sought after by collectors of Scandinavian ceramics.
