Elegant faience vase with a hand-painted motif of a seated female figure in classic Art Deco style. Executed in a golden glaze with black outlines and a geometric band decoration around the neck. A beautiful and characteristic example of Bo Fajans’ decorative ceramic production from the 1930s.

Bio:
Founded in Gefle in the early 20th century, Bo Fajans became renowned for its artistically decorated faience works. During the 1930s, the workshop combined classical motifs with the stylised lines and metallic glazes of the Art Deco period — an expression still highly valued among collectors of Swedish design today.
