Large vase, 1960s.
Hand-painted ceramic vase with a slender neck and decorative geometric pattern in black, blue, yellow, and red. A fine example of Italian studio pottery from the 1960s, featuring vibrant colours and a graphic expression.

Bio:
Fratelli Fanciullacci was one of the most important ceramic workshops in Montelupo Fiorentino near Florence. Renowned for their hand-painted decorations and modern shapes, they produced both for export and for department stores such as Åhlén & Holm in Sweden. Their works from the 1950s and 60s are now highly sought after for their distinctive use of colour and classic midcentury design.
