Bio:
Berndt Friberg (1899–1981) was a Swedish ceramic master celebrated for his perfectly thrown forms and deep, nuanced glazes. Working for Gustavsberg from 1934 onward, he became one of the most revered figures in Scandinavian studio ceramics. The Selecta line was created as a more accessible, yet still fully handmade counterpart to his unique one-off pieces.
