Bio:
Monica Bratt (1913–1961) was a Swedish ceramicist and glass designer known for her work for Reijmyre Glasbruk among others. She studied at Tekniska Skolan in Stockholm and became a central figure in Swedish modern glass design during the mid twentieth century. Bratt frequently worked with elegant organic forms and subtle colour nuances, and her designs are highly sought after today among collectors of Scandinavian art glass.
