Impressive mouth-blown Murano candlestick with two candle holders, crafted in clear spiral glass with gold dust (avventurina) and floral appliqués in deep pink and purple tones. An elegant, sculptural piece of Italian glass design from the 1960s.

Bio:
Murano glass art is renowned for its technically demanding craftsmanship, including the use of avventurina, multicoloured floral applications and complex sculptural forms. During the 1950s and 60s, many of the island’s master glassmakers produced highly decorative and experimental works that today are sought after by collectors.
