Bio:
Lalique was founded by the French glass artist and jeweller René Lalique (1860–1945), who from 1909 ran his own glassworks in Combs-la-Ville. After his death, his son Marc Lalique continued the company and in the 1950s converted production to crystal. Lalique is particularly known for its sculptural glass with frosted and clear surfaces and motifs from nature.
