Bio:
Brutalism developed a distinctive presence in Danish lighting and decorative arts during the 1960s and 70s. Hand-worked metals, rough surfaces, geometric constructions and visible traces of fabrication were characteristic features. Pendant lights of this type were often conceived as decorative sculptural light sources, with the texture and patination of the metal forming an essential part of their expression.
