Set of two sculptural vases in white and turquoise-blue glass with rounded bodies and distinctive stepped necks. The vases were designed by Michael Bang for Holmegaard as part of the Napoli series.

Bio:
Michael Bang (1942–2013) was a Danish glass designer and the son of Jacob E. Bang. He joined Holmegaard in the late 1960s and created a wide range of distinctive functional and art glass designs. His work is characterised by a confident understanding of the form, colour and optical qualities of glass, and his designs for Holmegaard represent an important part of Danish glass design from the second half of the 20th century.
