Bio:
Michael Bang (1942–2013) was a Danish glass artist and designer and the son of glass designer Jacob E. Bang. He worked for Kastrup Glassworks and later Holmegaard Glassworks, creating a number of distinctive series within Danish glass design. His work is often characterised by simple forms, strong colours and a functional approach to mouth-blown glass.
