Rectangular pewter dish with integrated handles, model 1547, designed in a simple and functional form with soft rounded edges. Classic Danish design from the interwar period with a lightly patinated surface.

Bio:
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a Danish sculptor and designer, known for his work in metal, especially pewter and his proprietary alloy Disko. Originally trained as a sculptor, he achieved wide recognition for decorative objects in the Art Deco style. His works are characterised by clean, stylised forms and a high level of craftsmanship, and remain highly collectible today.
