Bio:
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a Danish sculptor, silversmith, and designer. He is especially known for his works in disko metal, a proprietary metal alloy that became a signature material in his production. His works unite sculptural form, function, and art deco aesthetics, and he is regarded as a central figure in Danish decorative arts in the first half of the twentieth century.
