Bio:
Oiva Toikka (1931–2019) was one of Finland’s most significant glass designers. He worked for many years with Nuutajärvi and later Iittala and is recognised for his experimental approach to form and structure, combined with a deep understanding of the artistic and technical potential of glass. His works are represented in major international museum and private collections.
