Bio:
Märta Måås-Fjetterström (1873–1941) was one of Sweden’s most influential textile artists and designers. She founded her workshop in Båstad in 1919, creating patterns inspired by nature, folklore, and the aesthetics of modernism. Her designs combine strong graphic expression with organic motifs and masterful craftsmanship. This serving tray with its nature-inspired leaf motif reflects her ability to translate textile ornamentation into everyday objects and exemplifies why her works remain highly valued among collectors and design enthusiasts today.
