The Pearl dinnerware was designed in the 1780s and forms the basis of the world-renowned Flora Danica dinnerware, as the story will, was a gift from the Danish king to Russian tzarina. The original Flora Danica dinnerware was completed in 1802, but then the tzarina had died and the dinnerware is today owned by the royal family and is used for state visits.

Undecorated Flora Danica or Pearl dinnerware was in production for a very short period of time.
