Royal Copenhagen Midsummer Night’s Dream, set of six coffee cups with saucers.
Set of six porcelain coffee cups with matching saucers by Royal Copenhagen in the Midsummer Night’s Dream pattern, decorated in delicate pale blue and white tones. Model 73/10041. The pattern was designed by Arnold Krog.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear. Some pieces are first quality, while others are marked with one or two cancellation lines.
Bio:
Arnold Emil Krog (1856–1931) was a Danish architect and porcelain artist. Trained as an architect at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, he became artistic director of the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory in 1885. Krog played a central role in the artistic renewal of the manufactory and became particularly known for his work with underglaze decoration and natural motifs. The Midsummer Night’s Dream service was designed by Krog around 1899.
