Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in Copenhagen in 1775 under the patronage of Queen Juliane Marie and developed into one of Denmark’s foremost porcelain manufacturers. The company is particularly renowned for its hand-painted porcelain and its distinctive trademark of three wavy lines, symbolising the Øresund, Great Belt and Little Belt. During the 20th century, its production also encompassed decorative objects and lighting, extending the factory’s porcelain tradition into interior design.
