Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Danish-Finnish ceramic artist and designer regarded as one of the most important figures in Scandinavian ceramics. As artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931, he developed numerous groundbreaking stoneware series distinguished by organic forms and refined glazes. His works are highly sought after by collectors and represent some of the finest achievements of 20th-century Nordic design.
