Unique conical bowl in a turquoise-blue, lightly speckled glaze with a pale rim, on a narrow foot with thrown stripes. Signed and dated 1996.
Origin: Sweden.
Material: Glazed ceramic.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.
Bio:
Swedish studio ceramics of the second half of the 20th century is known for hand-thrown unique pieces emphasising glazes, the character of the material and a free, artistic language of form. Many ceramicists ran their own workshops and worked in small series or unique pieces, often inspired by both Scandinavian modernism and East Asian ceramics.
