Lauri Nila (1898–1983) was a Finnish visual artist who worked within a modernist and abstract visual language. His oeuvre included landscapes and maritime subjects, in which recognisable elements such as boats, buildings, and coastal scenery were simplified into geometric forms and decorative areas of colour.
