The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in Copenhagen in 1775. Blue Fluted belongs to the factorys oldest and most distinctive production, combining hand-painted cobalt-blue decoration with fluted porcelain forms. The service has achieved iconic status within Danish porcelain and decorative arts.
