Pair of porcelain lunch plates decorated with the classic hand-painted Blue Fluted Plain pattern. Model 1/177, both first quality.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear. One plate has a chip on the reverse, see photo.
Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 as the Royal Porcelain Factory. Blue Fluted Plain was the factorys first dinner service and has become one of the most iconic Danish porcelain patterns. The hand-painted cobalt-blue decoration combines stylised flowers and palmettes with the porcelains characteristic fluted surface.
