Elegant English porcelain tea service comprising a teapot, lidded sugar bowl and cream jug. Decorated with the classic Royal Petal pattern in pink and gilt on an ivory-coloured porcelain body.

Bio:
W.H. Grindley & Co. was founded in 1880 in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, by William Harry Grindley (1859–1926). The company became renowned for producing high-quality porcelain and earthenware tableware, supplying both the British market and overseas export markets. Throughout the first half of the 20th century, Grindley introduced numerous successful dinnerware patterns, many of which remain highly sought after by collectors of English ceramics today.
