Bio:
Magnus Wijkström (1957–2019) was a Swedish artist raised in Eslöv. He studied at Pernbys Målarskola in Stockholm and was admitted to Valand Academy of Fine Arts in Gothenburg in 1983, where he trained for five years. He later settled in Malmö and worked as an artist. His work is characterised by an experimental approach to abstraction, focusing on colour, form, and composition. Despite a reserved personality, he exhibited in Sweden and internationally and gained recognition over time.
