Bio:
Henrik Bloch (born 1931) is a Danish painter, scenographer, and librettist, educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1952. He debuted in 1953 at the Royal Danish Theatre and worked extensively within theatre production over several decades, including collaborations with Odense Theatre. His visual art is characterised by a refined sense of colour and a spatial awareness influenced by scenography, often giving his paintings a near three-dimensional presence.
