Bio:
Louis Icart (1888–1950) was a French painter, graphic artist, and illustrator, born in Toulouse and later active in Paris. He became one of the leading figures of the Art Deco period, particularly known for his elegant and sensual depictions of women, often produced as etchings using aquatint and drypoint techniques. Icart also worked in fashion illustration and book art, gaining wide popularity in both Europe and the United States during the interwar years.
