Bio:
Arne Bang (1901–1983) was a Danish ceramicist and sculptor, known for his distinctive stoneware works and confident sense of form. He was especially active during the first half of the 20th century, creating ceramic objects with simple, sculptural shapes and refined glazes. His works are today regarded among the important contributions to Danish art deco ceramics.
