Bio:
Svend Hammershøi (1873–1948) was a Danish ceramicist and sculptor, known for his work at Kähler in Næstved. He is regarded as one of the most important figures in Danish ceramics in the early 20th century. Hammershøi is particularly recognised for his elegant, classical forms and refined glazes, which have had a lasting influence on Danish ceramic tradition.
