Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Swedish-Finnish ceramicist and one of the most important designers associated with Rörstrand in the 20th century. He became especially known for his elegant stoneware forms and experimental glazes, combining Scandinavian restraint with an artistic and organic design language. Nylund’s works are today highly regarded within Nordic ceramics.
