Decorative vase in glazed earthenware with a characteristic wavy rim and foot. Executed in a double glaze with green, turquoise, white and black tones, where the glaze flows dynamically across the surface creating a strong artistic expression.

Bio:
Svend Hammershøi (1873–1948) was a Danish ceramicist and a key figure at Kähler. He is known for his powerful forms and experimental glazes, working with layered and dynamic surfaces. His works from the first half of the 20th century are considered among the most significant in Danish ceramic art.
