Elegant vase in glazed earthenware with a soft baluster shape and gently flared rim. Executed in a light yellow glaze with warm orange tones and fine vertical streaking, characteristic of Hammershøi’s work with dynamic glaze effects.

Bio:
Svend Hammershøi (1873–1948) was a Danish ceramicist and one of the most prominent artists at Kähler. He is particularly known for his harmonious forms and experimental glazes, where colour transitions and surface texture play a central role. His works from the first half of the 20th century are today considered among the most important within Danish ceramic tradition.
