Large baluster-shaped vase in glazed earthenware with vertically arranged relief panels and undulating ornamentation. Executed in a light yellow glaze with warm orange tones and lively surface variation. Signed HAK to the base.

Bio:
Svend Hammershøi (1873–1948) was a Danish ceramicist and one of the leading artists at Kähler. He is known for his monumental forms and distinctive decoration, often combining simple repeated patterns with experimental glazes. His works from the first half of the 20th century are considered among the most important in Danish ceramic art.
