Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 in Copenhagen under the patronage of Queen Dowager Juliane Marie. The manufactory is internationally recognised for its hand-painted porcelain and high craftsmanship standards. The Saxon Flower decoration draws inspiration from 18th-century European porcelain traditions and was produced in several variations throughout the 20th century, including in 1960.
