Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Swedish ceramicist and designer, born in Paris. He served as artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931 to 1955 and was a key figure in Scandinavian modernism. Nylund is recognised for his organic forms and refined glazes, which played a significant role in shaping Swedish ceramic design in the mid-20th century.
