Porcelain dinner plates decorated with the classic Blue Onion pattern. Some first factory quality and some cancelled with two incised lines. Marked to the base with the Meissen crossed swords.

Bio:
Meissen Porcelain was founded in 1710 and is Europe’s oldest porcelain manufactory. It was the first in Europe to produce true hard-paste porcelain and early on established standards of quality and craftsmanship. The Blue Onion pattern, introduced in the 18th century, remains one of Meissen’s most iconic and collectible decorations.
