Decorative glazed ceramic wall relief formed as a stylised flower with leaf motifs. Executed in brown tones with contrasting light blue, glossy glazed elements that create a strong sculptural effect. The surface combines relief, rhythm and colour in a clear modernist idiom. Model number 1071.

Bio:
Irma Yourstone was a Swedish ceramic artist and designer associated with Upsala Ekeby in the mid-20th century. Her work includes both freestanding pieces and decorative wall reliefs, often inspired by natural forms and characterised by a strong sense of relief and expressive glazing. Upsala Ekeby was one of Sweden’s leading ceramic producers of the period and played a key role in the development of Swedish modernism in both decorative and functional ceramics.
