Heavy glass bowl in blue-toned moulded glass with geometric relief decoration and a fitted metal mount along the rim. The bowl is hand-signed and represents a strong example of Finnish design from the period.

Pentti Sarpaneva (1925–1978) was a Finnish designer and sculptor, renowned for his expressive works in both glass and metal. Sarpaneva’s pieces from the 1960s and 1970s are today highly regarded for their artistic presence and experimental spirit.
