Bio:
Nils Thorsson was artistic director at Royal Copenhagen and a key figure in the development of the factory’s modern faience production. With the Baca series, introduced in the late 1960s, he established a distinctive graphic style based on modular decoration, relief effects, and a subdued, earthy colour palette. The series represents an important chapter in post-war Danish ceramics and is today highly regarded by collectors.
