Porcelain fish platter decorated in Blue Fluted Plain with hand-painted underglaze blue floral sprigs and vines. The set comprises a pierced insert and a matching round tray, made to Royal Copenhagen model 1/101.
Origin: Denmark.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: H. 5 cm, D. 44 cm.
Period: 19 c. (fish strainer) and 1959.
Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of wear. The strainer is 1st quality; the tray is marked with two incised lines.

Blue Fluted Plain is one of Royal Copenhagen’s most recognisable patterns, defined by its fluted porcelain body and underglaze blue hand-painting. Serving pieces such as fish strainers were designed for traditional table service and highlight the pattern’s breadth across both functional and formal settings.
