Porcelain figurine depicting a curled, sleeping cat, modelled with soft lines and finished in a subtle grey and white glaze with delicate tonal variations. Model 422.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear. Cancelled quality with one incised line.
Bio:
Animal figurines have long been an important part of Royal Copenhagen’s production and are noted for their naturalistic modelling and refined detail. In the early 1960s, particular emphasis was placed on calm poses and balanced proportions, clearly reflected in cat figurines from this period.
