“Agneta” 2 Pitchers, 1970s.
Set of two stoneware pitchers in different sizes, decorated with the characteristic Agneta floral band and warm reddish-brown border. Functional forms with a distinctly 1970s expression. Minor craquelure present.
Origin: Sweden.
Material: Stoneware.
Dimensions: H. approx. 8–14 cm, W. 14–18 cm.
Period: 1970s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear and minor craquelure.
Bio:
Gefle (Gefle Porslinsfabrik), later part of the Upsala Ekeby group, was known in the 1970s for its decorative tableware featuring graphic patterns and warm tones. The Agneta series is a classic example of this retro design language and remains popular among collectors of Scandinavian mid-to-late 20th-century ceramics.
