Bio:
Wilhelm Kåge, artistic director at Gustavsberg, founded the Studio workshop in the late 1920s, where he developed the Farsta series—experimental, handcrafted stoneware pieces known for their unique glazes, rich colours and powerful firings. Farsta works from the 1930s are among the most sought-after Swedish studio ceramics due to their rarity, artistic depth and historical importance.
