Bio:
Agne Johansson (1921–1987) was a Swedish painter and draughtsman, born in Norrköping. He studied at Otte Sköld’s Painting School in Stockholm (1940–1941) and at the Royal Institute of Art (Konsthögskolan) in Stockholm (1942–1947). His public commissions include portraits of Ernst Rosenlund, Trued Norell, and S. Saigland, as well as decorative works for the Karlskoga Library and Norrköping Hospital. His artistic output encompasses portrait painting, landscapes, and figure compositions in oil and drawing. Johansson is represented in several public collections, including Norrköping Art Museum, Trelleborg Museum, and in regional and municipal collections in Västernorrland, Södermanland, Östergötland, Motala, and Södertälje.
