A striking lithograph by Tal R, combining figurative suggestions with abstract elements in his distinctive expressive style. The work exemplifies Tal R’s “kolbojnik” approach (Hebrew for ‘leftovers’), in which visual fragments from diverse sources – art history, everyday life, and mythology – are mixed together to form new, layered compositions. The bold contrast of green dots and red fields creates both rhythm and tension, characteristic of the artist’s ability to merge the raw with the poetic.
