A strictly composed abstract work, where cool blue and green fields are intersected by white sections. The geometric forms create a rhythmic progression that balances calm with subtle motion. The textured surface enhances the expressive character and reflects Fohlin’s experimental approach to color and form during the late 1970s.

Bio:
Gunnar Fohlin (1922–1998) was a Swedish painter and printmaker, trained at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. His work focused on abstraction and bold color experimentation, often inspired by the rhythms of nature. Fohlin’s works are represented in several Swedish public collections and museums.
