Bio:
Åke Holm (1900–1980) was a Swedish sculptor, ceramicist, and printmaker, trained at the Technical School in Stockholm. He is especially known for his religiously inspired works, where archaic forms are combined with a restrained modernist aesthetic. His works are represented in the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and in many Swedish church collections.
