Hans Jørgen Wegner was a Danish architect and designer, born in 1914. He was especially known for his designs of the Papa Bear chair, the Wishbone chair and the GE-290 series, which came to be through collaborations with Danish furniture manufacturers; AP Furniture, Carl Hansen and Getama.
