Nils Kähler, low bowl.
Low, round bowl in thrown stoneware with a glossy blue glaze and a sand-coloured unglazed band. Simple, functional design characteristic of Danish stoneware from the 1960s.

Origin: Denmark.
Designer: Nils Kähler.
Material: Stoneware.
Dimensions: H. 5 cm, D. 19 cm.
Period: 1960s.
Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Nils Kähler (1920–2009) was a key figure in the later generation of the Kähler family, working both as a ceramicist and artistic director. In the mid-20th century, the Kähler workshop became known for its modernist approach to stoneware, emphasising clean forms and refined glazes. Works from the 1960s reflect the functional aesthetic of the period combined with high standards of craftsmanship.
