Elegant cylindrical vase in the iconic azure-blue glaze characteristic of the Kähler workshop during the 1960s. The form is gently tapered with a narrow mouth and a richly textured glaze that emphasises its hand-thrown quality.

Bio:
Nils Kähler (1906–1979) was fourth generation of the renowned Kähler family and a key figure in modernising the workshop’s design language in the mid-20th century. His work focused on clean lines, simple silhouettes and experimental colour glazes, making his pieces highly sought after among collectors of Danish ceramics.
